It is the end of Summer, and the beginning of a new season of Stories & Soliloquies. While it was good to have a break, I’m excited to catch up on the posts I missed while I was away, and especially to get back into The Philosopher’s Lexicon. My workload remains heavy, though, so I’ll likely be working on a reduced schedule.
To celebrate, I’ll leave you with some photos from the last gasps of Summer. Even though the Fall semester has begun and the leaves have begun to drop, it still feels like we should all be lazing about on the lake.

Whenever I think of holidays I think of that lovely line from The Last Battle, “The term is over: the holidays have begun. The dream is ended: this is the morning.” It’s good to see you back.
