I’ve been working on some larger academic projects lately, and as such, haven’t had much time for blogging – or much mental space for reading or writing. My brain is too distracted by puzzles and quotes to process any additional words. I’ve been using my downtime instead to paint, cook, clean, play my ukelele, go out to dinner, play in the snow, and go for walks. I’m filling my mind with experiences and images that, hopefully, I will be able to turn into words someday.

So jealous! I think we’re surrounded by a snow bubble in Middle Tennessee, because it’s been snowing everywhere but here. Ha! Looks beautiful. Have fun playing in it! (Btw, I play the uke too!)

I feel so lucky for the weather right now! We haven’t had a real winter in a few years, so this has been fun. And I’m sure you’re better at the uke than I am – I just got one over New Years, so I’m still figuring things out!

Beautiful shots, an upside to the brutal winter we’ve had.

Thank you! I’m actually loving the winter – I love the cold and the snow. The only part I don’t like is that you can’t really get around, but that’s not always so bad either. 🙂

That much is true- stuck at home with coffee or some other elixir is not a bad thing.

Winter is my favorite season. Even here in Virginia there have been some nice snow falls recently. The only downside is that the snow melts too quickly!
Those are some great pictures!

Thank you 🙂 We’re in a melting phase here – it’s nice to have a warm, 40 degree breeze on your face, but it’s sad to see the snow piles dwindle!
